Introduction

L-2 CrossFit Coach and Personal Trainer

Ever since I could remember I loved sport. Specifically, rugby and cricket and I mainly did athletics for fitness.
I matriculated in 2006 at Hoerskool Monument and in 2007 I went to study Sport Science with a major in Psychology at the University of Stellenbosch.
I played rugby for Maties Rugby Club at age group level and eventually played for Vics (Victorians, Maties 2nd team) before concluding my studies.
I completed my Sport Science degree and did my Strength and Conditioning Certification through the NSCA where I received a certificate in strength and conditioning (CSCS).
I worked briefly as Rope Access technician before I got the opportunity to personal train at a private gym in Florida.
During that time, I got exposed to CrossFit and at the end of 2013 I did my CF-L1 (Cross Fit Level 1 trainer certificate).
I started my CrossFit coaching career at CrossFit HUA (now known as 3 –Dimension Fitness).
During that time, I worked as a Sport Coordinator and teacher at Laerskool Fairland.
I continued coaching and personal training at 3-Dimention Fitness until the start of 2017.
I did however get the opportunity to start coaching at CrossFit Platinum in August 2017 and I did not think twice to join the crew at Platinum.
Under the leadership of Julian, it is difficult not to better yourself.
I am now one of the three Level-2 (CrossFit Level 2 Qualification) coaches at CrossFit Platinum and it is literally the best few ours of my day.
I live for improving people’s lives and seeing them improve themselves gives me great pleasure.
This is where my passion for CrossFit is growing day by day.
